Title:-Pitta dosha prakar bhedane vishesh abhyas.(Study
of Type of Piita Dosha)
Dr. A.S. Patil submitted his dissertation to Pune University
in 1999 for the P.G. degree M.D. (Sharir Kriya). His guide was Dr. N. D.
Dhargalkar. Research center was Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune.
This thesis is in Marathi local language. Dr. Patil had
tried to see the effect of Haritaki (Terminalia chebula) on alochak pitta.
Haritaki powder was given 2 gm B.D. externally extract of Haritaki was used.
Extract was used as eye drop in the dose of 1 B.D.
The research concluded that –
Haritaki
when used internally & externally it improves the function of alochak
pitta.
The
symptoms like eye pain or burning of eyes, less vision were improved.
